Aaron McDonald, DVM

Dr. McDonald was born and raised in Massachusetts.  He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and his DVM from Tufts University-Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. During his 4th year at Tufts University, he earned the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society Award. Dr. McDonald went on to complete a surgical and medical internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital.  He stayed in the Los Angeles area for several years, working as an ER doctor and general practitioner.  

Upon returning to Massachusetts, he continued to work as a general practitioner.  His professional interests are surgery, pain management, preventative medicine, and training new DVMs in surgical technique.

Outside of work, he can be found playing basketball, hiking, coaching, and spending time with his 2 daughters and 2 dogs.
