Ranjini Abraham Fear Free Certified, DVM
Chief of Staff
Dr. Abraham is of South Indian origin and was born and raised in South America and New York City. She studied Veterinary Technology at the City University of New York and began her career as a Licensed Veterinary Technician at New York City’s busiest ASPCA, the Bergh Memorial Animal Hospital in Manhattan. She later pursued her dream of becoming a veterinarian, completing her pre-veterinary studies at the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Abraham earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 2006 from Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in Alabama, where she received the Pfizer Senior Veterinary Student Excellence in Internal Medicine Award.
Her professional interests include small animal urgent care, wellness and preventive medicine, and the treatment of small and exotic pocket pets. She also enjoys teaching veterinary technician students part-time at a local community college, watching her vet school baby girl grow, and traveling with her husband. At home, she loves spending time with and caring for her fur babies — Teddy, her dog; Simba, her cat; and Polly, her green-cheeked conure parrot.
Dr. Abraham is a Fear Free–certified veterinarian.
